Bidya Devi Bhandari vs Hon Sui Sen

Bhandari was elected as the first female President of Nepal by the electoral college. She succeeded Ram Baran Yadav and served as the head of state during the transition to a federal republic.

As President, Bhandari signed the new constitution of Nepal, which was adopted by the Constituent Assembly. The constitution established Nepal as a federal democratic republic, replacing the interim constitution.

Hon Sui Sen oversaw the establishment of the Stock Exchange of Singapore, which replaced the joint exchange with Malaysia. This move strengthened Singapore's capital markets and attracted international investors.

Hon Sui Sen expanded the Central Provident Fund to include healthcare savings through the Medisave scheme. This reform allowed Singaporeans to use CPF savings for medical expenses, enhancing social security.
